Leggings Love

Because I’m on board with leggings (aren’t we all?), I’m also excited about the knit, leggings-like pants I’ve been seeing. I’m in the market for jeans, but I’m thinking about getting a pair of these instead. They fit like leggings, but they’re made of heavier, more substantial material. The issue I’m struggling with is that they cost the same as jeans, not leggings.

Case in point: the 7 for All Mankind Gwenevere Knit Pants. They’re adorable, but they cost $185. Keep in mind, I’d wait for them to go on sale…

What are your thoughts on knit pants? Are they worth the higher price tag or are they just glorified leggings at a much higher price?

I hate to say it, but they are just not worth the price tag. Part of the reason I love leggings is because of the stretchy, comfey material… to make leggings more substantial and to add a zipper is to take away all that is good about leggings!

I happen to have a fond liking for Legging-jeans! In part because it’s something new (finally) and also because Celebrity Pink (obviously I am biased) has just done a fabulous line of colored Legging denim in virtually EVERY COLOR ever!!! get excited…

I dislike those Seven pants immensely. I have tried on another style in that material (Ginger – a high-waisted trouser style) and they show EVERYTHING. They also stretch badly . I sell high-end , designer jeans for a living and they are not worth the extra money at all. Go with leggings OR jeans. Both have their purpose and those weird cross over pants are just that. Weird. Sorry.
