Neutral Sophistication at Milan Fashion Week

After London’s pretty prints, Milan was a refreshing wash of neutral shades and sophisticated cuts. Common colors included silver, mink, champagne, griege, and white. Designers from Bottega Veneta to Albino wowed us with how beautiful the neutral palette can be.

Hemlines were longer than London and while there were a lot of structured pieces and suits, we also loved the floatier cuts from the likes of Roberto Cavalli. Even the bolder shows such as Gucci and Prada used jewel colors rather than super bright.

What did we love?

The entirely white show from Dolce & Gabbana, the boyfriend look at DSquared2, stripes at Prada, and mustard prints at Etro.
