GIVEAWAY: Enter Your Accountant Friends. Make Tax Day Less Taxing

UPDATE! We’ve chosen our winners, Victoria and Bridget! See comment 43 below. Congrats ladies!

Know a busy accountant?  Tax Day is approaching and we know accountants are working around the clock.  Make your accountant’s life less stressful during crunch time!

At Shop It To Me, we’re always trying to save our members time and want to acknowledge these time-starved workaholics during this crazy month of the year.

So, we’re giving away a perfect-for-work bag to one deserving (and stylish!) accountant — and an awesome wallet to whoever nominates him or her!  If a guy wins, he’ll take home this Jack Spade bag, or if it’s a lucky lady, she’ll snag this beautiful Kate Spade tote.

Help a friend win!
Nominate an accountant (we know they don’t have time to enter themselves).  If your nominee is selected, you too could win!  Choose from a Marc Jacobs wallet or Tumi money clip as a reward for being a thoughtful friend.

To enter –>
Scroll to the very bottom of this post and enter the following info:
1. Your accountant friend’s FIRST name
2. His/her CITY
3. Why he/she should be chosen (1 sentence)!

We’ll randomly select one winning entry on tax day (April 17, 2012).

Important contest notes:

  • If your comment is the winning entry, we’ll contact you and ask for your accountant friend’s contact information.  You must respond within 48 hours or we’ll select an alternate.
  • We’ll ask for verification that the winner is an accountant (business card, LinkedIn profile, etc.).
  • One Grand Prize: One person who comments on the blog post will receive their choice of the Marc Jacobs turnlock wallet or the Tumi money clip, as pictured.  Their nominated friend, the winning accountant, will get to choose if he/she wants the Kate Spade tote or the Jack Spade bag.  If the particular bag they select is no longer available, winner will receive a similar bag of comparable value (up to $275), at Shop It To Me’s discretion.
  • One entry per person
  • US residents only
  • Winner must be Shop It To Me member.  Perfect time to spread the word!

My husband John from Buffalo, NY. He works hard all year long, but that’s nothing compared to busy season where he has been working at the office all day, comes home for dinner around 8 or later, spends time with me and his 2 girls only to continue working until 11:30 some nights after the kids go to bed.

He is the best account I know because he is well educated and well versed in his practice.
