We sat down with Hollywood “It” girl and burgeoning fashion designer Whitney Port, and she shared her no-regrets style picks for spring.

After countless red carpet appearances and seasons of design sessions for her line Whitney Eve, the gorgeous celeb-reality star shares her defining mantra for a wardrobe filled with foolproof purchases: “The key is to dress for yourself and your sensibility.” That said, there are certain pieces that will be universally appealing to women of all sensibilities this spring.

“Mixing prints will be huge this spring, which is why this dress is such a great find. You can pair it with endless options because the pattern is so graphic and has so many colors. I’d wear it to the office during the day or a cocktail party at night.”

“The little black dress is a staple of every woman’s closet. This one looks more sophisticated than frilly, thanks to the knee-skimming hemline.
